Check our open studio hours for the month and tour the space, meet the founder, and learn about our unique blend of fine arts workshops and paint parties.

Art Workshops for Kids Fine arts lessons in specified media. They are more affective if you attend 4-6 consecutive workshops, as we build upon prior skill. However, they are also created in a way that students can drop in any time! (Please register for workshops at least 48 hours in advance so that I have all materials ready for your student). One of the most unique things here is that we cater to YOU! You pick your workshop, choose a time that works for you, and we open the studio for your personalized art lesson. This allows more one-on-one instruction. You truly get more bang for your buck here!

WHAT ARE THE WORKSHOPS?

Studio Seven: Learn one or multiple of the seven elements of art (line, shape, form, space, texture, value, and color) through hands-on activity. These workshops are a great segue to all other workshops offered. Offered to students in grades TK-12th.
Watercolor Wonder: Helps students to understand how to use the four pillars of watercolor (color, shape, value, and edges) in order to compose expressive art. Offered to students in grades 3rd-12th.
Mini Masters: Geared towards early learners (Tk-2nd grade), or youngsters new to the fine arts, this workshop will focus on kinetic and sensory learning activities that encourage exploration of fine arts principles.
Me, Myself, & Media: Focuses on understanding the properties, and intentional layering, of mixed media through mini art projects. Offered to students in grades 3rd-12th.
Simply Charcoal: Explore foundational principles and techniques necessary to create comprehensive charcoal drawings. This class is offered to students grades 6th-12th and with basic experience with art/drawing.
Beyond the Brush: A social class for students in grades 6th-12th. The group will get creative with any given activity from one of the art workshops while discussing a mental and/or physical wellness topic supporting self-awareness and good habits. Topics are decided beforehand so feel free to ask Michelle in advance.

PAINT PARTIES

LADIES PAINT NIGHT: Offered once a month for ladies only, ages 14+. A fun, vibrant party just for us girls!
DATE & PAINT NIGHT: Offered once a month for couples, ages 18+. A fun and creative date night all set up for you and your special someone.
CREATIVE CRAZE: A guided paint party for kids and/or adults. These are event based and details vary.
CREATIVE CRAZE (THEMED): A guided paint part for kids and/or adults. Themes may be holiday, historical, or academic STEAM based. These are event based and details vary.

We Do More!

Host private paint parties in the Inland Empire for ALL AGES.
Happy to host events for non-profits and fundraising.
Accept charter school funds. Michelle Mayfield Arts LLC is currently working on approval from several local charters. Reach out to your school to get us on their list to better serve local families.
